Editorial Policy
How we create, check, update and correct our content.
Our standards
Our job is to help readers make better buying decisions. Every article must answer a real question, give the answer early, show the reasoning and be clear about limitations.
How content is created
Writers research each topic using manufacturer specifications, manuals, warranty documents and other credible sources. We explain what specifications mean in practice instead of repeating spec sheets. We do not copy product descriptions or customer reviews from retailers.
Testing claims
We only say we tested a product when we did. When a verdict is based on research rather than hands-on use, the article makes that clear.
Fact checking
Before publishing, an editor checks specifications, price ranges, claims and links. Health and fitness content describes product features and does not make medical claims.
Updates
Products change and prices move. We review our guides regularly and show the date each page was last updated. When we update a verdict, we explain why.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Report an error through our contact page.
Affiliate relationships
We may earn commission from affiliate links. Commission rates never influence which products we recommend or the verdicts we give. See our affiliate disclosure.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help with research, outlines or editing. A human editor reviews, fact-checks and takes responsibility for everything we publish.
